The Poor Things sunglasses, worn by Emma Stone’s Bella serve as inspiration for our first Film Things Limited Edition.

Three frames that contain the geometric and otherworldly DNA of the original Victorian frame.

In October 2023 we were asked by Oscar winning costume designer Holly Waddington to reproduce the original Victorian Sunglasses worn by Emma Stone in Poor Things.

Made from real tortoiseshell (now thankfully outlawed) and very small in stature, the frame instantly inspired us.

We were lucky enough to have the frame for a week and took a full set of measurements and created a 1:1 3D model from which our copies were produced.

The frame is already causing quite a stir and following winning numerous awards including Best Costume Design at the Oscars it’s set to become a cult classic.

Natalie was instantly inspired when she got her hands on the Poor Things frame and got straight to designing this range. The original’s strong geometric form is taken a step further with bold diamond and square options.

Offered with a choice of lens colour and made to order by us in our East London workshop.
