Overview of MIM

MIM was originally designed for larger faces with naturally arched brows, but its balanced proportions have made it universally flattering across many face shapes. The squared upper line follows the brow gracefully, while the rounded lower edge softens the overall expression. The frame is widest at the top, especially where the front meets the arms, creating a subtle upsweep that lifts the eyes and adds gentle definition.

The combination of structure and softness gives MIM a calm, feminine presence that works beautifully for most face types. The lifted outer corners visually enlarge the eyes, while the softened lower edge prevents the frame from feeling sharp or angular. Fine:

Subtle, elegant and gently expressive. The slimmer rim highlights the lifted upper structure and rounded lower edge, making the frame feel calm and refined for everyday wear.

Dramatic and sculptural. The added thickness accentuates the upsweep and gives the frame a bolder silhouette. Dark colours feel strong and confident, while lighter tones feel modern and artistic.

MIM is crafted from premium Italian cellulose acetate, chosen for its clarity, colour depth and ability to hold both structured and rounded shaping. Each frame is hand cut, shaped and polished in our London workshop. The brow following upper line, lifted outer corners and softened base are refined by hand to ensure a balanced, feminine silhouette.

All of our frames use premium German hardware, high precision hinges selected for their durability, smooth action and long term reliability.

MIM is available in a diverse palette that includes warm tortoises, soft neutrals, transparent crystals and deeper tones for more dramatic styling. Lighter colours emphasise the lift and openness of the shape, while darker palettes give MIM a more expressive feminine presence.
