Overview of PIP

PIP is designed as a gentle round–oval shape that brings softness and balance to the face. Its proportions intentionally fill the vertical space between a low bridge and higher brow, creating a naturally harmonious fit. The rounded contour reduces visual weight, while the slight oval front gives the frame elegance and space, making it ideal for a broad range of wearers who want a soft but structured round.

The shape works particularly well for higher prescriptions, since the round form reduces edge thickness and helps lenses sit cleanly within the frame. The wider frame front additionally benefits wearers with wider faces or smaller PDs, improving lens thickness, symmetry and visual comfort. PIP is available in both fine and heavy line cuts, allowing the frame to shift from delicate and minimal to bold and artistic depending on the colour and weight.

Fine:

Quiet and artistic. The slimmer rim emphasises the soft round–oval silhouette, creating a gentle, graceful everyday frame that pairs beautifully with crystal colours and traditional tortoiseshell.

Heavy:

More expressive and bold, vintage and artistic. The added rim thickness enhances the rounded form and gives the frame a sculptural character. Darker colours feel strong and grounded, while translucent tones create a modern, artistic look.

Materials, Colours & Craftsmanship

PIP is handcrafted from premium Italian cellulose acetate, chosen for its clarity, colour depth and ability to hold precise round shaping. Each frame is individually cut, shaped and polished in our London workshop. The smooth curvature of the rims, the gentle upper contour and the final hand finishing bring softness and precision together.

All of our frames use premium German hardware, high precision hinges selected for their durability, smooth action and long term reliability.

PIP is available in a palette ranging from warm tortoises and vintage inspired tones to soft crystals and deep, expressive colours. Lighter palettes enhance PIP’s gentle artistic character, while deeper tones give the frame a more defined silhouette.
